Obituary of Frankye E. Johnson

Please share a memory of Frankye to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Frankye Ethelene Johnson, 48, formally of Willingboro NJ passed away on July 26, 2017. Frankye suffered from a stroke in March of 2017 and then was diagnosed in June with Pancreatic Cancer.

Frankye was born in Camden NJ on May 21, 1969 to Linda J. and Harry R. Williams. She grew up in Willingboro and later relocated to Morristown Tennessee where she resided until her passing. She graduated from Kennedy High School.

Frankye worked as a group home employee and worked her way up to becoming a Group Home Manager in various group homes across the State of NJ. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age. As a youth she attended and became a member of Agape Christian Fellowship.  As she navigated through life she also attended The Temple of Light and after moving to Tennessee she attended Abundant Life Church. At an early age Frankye learned how to crochet from her great grandmother and after moving to Tennessee she became the “Queen” of extreme couponing. She loved sharing with friends and family on how to save.

Frankye was predeceased by her Mother Linda J. Williams. She leaves to cherish fond memories with her father Harry R. Williams; her three sons: Tyrone Marquise Johnson, Christopher Mathew Lee Johnson and Anthony Jamal Johnson.  Her two brothers: Trygve L. Johnson and Kimmara Williams and her two sisters: Della Marie Moore and Erika M. Reeves (Clifton). As-Well-As a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends; Davida Marcus, Tanya Webb, Patreva Rice, Casey Gulley and Denise Caldwell.

Frankye was very loving and caring to everyone. She went over and above when anyone needed her. She was our own personal “Madea”. She was good for telling her nieces to “clink clink or lock it up”. Frankye was never one to believe that people she encountered were just friends; to her every friend became family. She was a lover of the Oldies. Her favorite song was, “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” by Lou Rawls. Frankye will be truly missed by many.
