Eva Marie Hicks was born in Camden NJ on August 21, 1984 to Maria Cabrera and Israel Mercado at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. During her childhood, Eva was educated at Orchard Valley Middle School , Woodbury Public School Systems and acheived her high school diploma from Washington Township High School. After high school Eva, worked for various diners but her favorite job was waitressing at Charlie Browns where she was employed for 5 years. All of the customers loved her and would make special requests when they came to dine. In June 2007 she married Derek Cuff and from this union they were blessed with two children Dorian and Mariah. She loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her family She loved Mariah Carey and her favorite song was "Popping' by Chris Brown. She loved 90's music and would often have singing contests with her sisters. Eva will always be remembered by her family as a lovely person with a big heart. Eva was raised in New Jersey and later relocated to Philadelphia where she resided with Eugene Hicks and Theresa Rodriguez. As a young child Eva attended church with Theresa at Faith Fellowship in Glassboro NJ and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior.
