Obituary of Taniyah Sallie - Medley

Our dear Taniyah Yasmine Sallie-Medley passed away on April 12,2025. Taniyah was born to Intasar Sallie and the late Paul Robert Medley III on June 26, 2002, in Camden, NJ. From the time she entered the world, she was full of life and made her mark on the world. Taniyah was educated at the Durand School, in Woodbury NJ and graduated in 2022. Taniyah’s personality and smile were infectious. She often stole the show and was known for lighting up any room she entered. She enjoyed watching movies like Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Dreamgirls. She loved to sing and dance, you could catch her listening to her favorites Ciara, Beyonce, and most importantly the Cheetah Girls. Taniyah was a strong and resilient young woman. She lived her life to the fullest, and had things her way. And I mean her way, chicken wings and fries, pepsi,kitkat, plain lays chips or Burger King, She loved spending time with her grandmom ,often saying”I Love Her.” Taniyah was full of love. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Robert Medley III. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Intasar, her sister Jazmine, her nephew Jace, her grandmother(maternal) Felicia, her uncles Hassan(Tanya) and Kalif and her aunt MaChe, her best friend LeNaami and host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
