TeAuthor "Tea" Drennon was born on September 16, 1959 in Camden, Nu to Carrie and Thomas Drennon. The youngest of five children, Tea was full of curiosity and ambition. He was affectionately known as "Mousey", a nickname coined by his Aunt Dollbaby. Tea was educated in Camden schools, graduating from Camden High School in 1977. Upon graduation Tea attended college at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, then joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a dental assistant. TeAuthor married his Berkeley Street neighbor, Rhonda (Lawrence). The two were together for 41 years. From this union there are two daughters, Elan and Jazzmin Drennon. As a family, they enjoyed trying new things, hosting friends, and traveling together. TeAuthor worked for the United States Postal Service for 23 years until his recent retirement on March, 14 2025. Outside of work, Tea was an avid grillmaster and cook who loved preparing meals for his family and friends. He also loved music, storytelling, shopping, being inquisitive, building things, and his girls. TeAuthor passed away of congestive heart failure on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ surrounded by family and covered in love.
