Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem (In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful).
Dear family, friends, and loved ones,
Today, we gather to celebrate the beautiful, vibrant life of Niyair Moore—a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend whose light touched everyone around him. Born on April 1, 2013, at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, Though his beloved mother, Nicole Middleton, who passed in 2018, and father Terry Moore Niyair carried her spirit within him every day. He was raised with unwavering love by his father, Terry Moore, Lasheena Burns, Ms Carol and supported by a family who surrounded him with care, laughter, and guidance.
Niyair was a boy who lived life with passion and enthusiasm. He loved music—whether he was singing, creating it, or just vibing to his favorite songs. His love for video games brought him closer to friends and family, especially his sister Zaniah, who was often right by his side, sharing in his adventures. He embraced the fun of being a kid, whether shooting hoops, playing football, or simply exploring new experiences with that trademark excitement of his.
His heart was big—not just for the people in his life, but even for his beloved cat, who surely felt his warmth and care. Niyair didn’t just live; he inspired. He encouraged others to chase their dreams, to laugh often, and to find joy in every moment. His spirit was infectious, his smile unforgettable, and his love for his family unwavering.
Though his time with us was far too short, ending on May 7, 2025, the legacy he leaves behind is one of love, light, and resilience. He is reunited now with his beloved mother, Nicole, and though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace in the mercy of Allah (SWT).
To his father, Terry Moore , we stand with you in honoring a life that, though brief, was lived fully and beautifully. Niyair’s memory will forever be a blessing, a reminder to embrace each day with the same joy and fearlessness he did.
As we say Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return), let us carry Niyair’s spirit forward—through laughter, through music, through love, and through the unshakable belief that even in sorrow, there is light.
In Islam, we are taught that the soul is eternal, and though the body returns to the earth, the spirit returns to Allah. Niyair’s spirit is now in a place of peace, mercy, and light. We take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his mother and embraced by divine love.
To know Niyair was to know joy. Let us honor him by holding onto that joy. Let us be bold in our love, loud in our laughter, and generous with our time. Let us live as he did—with heart, hope, and harmony.
He is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his father Terry Moore, Lasheena Burns, grandmother’sArnetta Moody Moore, Carolyn Middleton, Yolanda, grandfather’s Adrian Tyrone McCray, Pop-Pop Tony, godmother Champail Lewis, sister Zaniah Moore, brothers Terrence Moore and Sincere Moore, and Quadier Nesmith, Uncle’s Terrell Moore, Robert Wright, Javon Jennings, Ronnie McRae, Andre, Aunts Renee Wright, Tynico Gant, Adrienne Hence, Aunt Cece, Ashley, Cindy, Mell, Vita, Renae McRae, Niece Kai Moore, Nephew’s Ace Moore and Mason Moore, and lots of cousins.

Rest easy, sweet Niyair. You were, and always will be, deeply loved.
Ameen
