In Loving Memory of Zaire Maurice Collins

Zaire was born on April 1, 2000 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ to Khadija Taylor and Clarence Collins. Zaire entered this world weighing only 1lb 1oz. Truly a miracle from God.

Zaire was an eccentric and spirited child, always looking for an outlet to burn off his never-ending energy. Zaire found his outlet through his love of sports. He played football at the midget level for Paulsboro and found his niche at Paulsboro High School in Cross Country and Track and Field. An exceptional runner, he was awarded with numerous accolades including First Team All-Conference, qualifying for Sectionals and the NJ State tournament during his junior and senior years. Zaire was a proud 2018 graduate of Paulsboro High School. Zaire was also a big fan of professional sports cheering unapologetically for the black and gold Pittsburgh Steelers!

Zaire welcomed a beautiful daughter into the world on December 28, 2019. Mariah was his pride and joy. Watching her grow...

One of Zaire's most endearing attributes was his affectionate and caring heart. He loved his family, friends and community with a passion and made no reservations expressing these feelings. Zaire was known and loved by a wide range of people in the community. Age, race, religion never played a factor in his love of all people. He had an infectious and welcoming smile that went hand and hand with his beautiful personality and loving soul.

Zaire was predeceased by his grandmothers Donna Jackson and Mary Marshall Taylor, and his best friend Lester Levine.

Zaire leaves behind in this world, his daughter Mariah Collins, mother Khadija Taylor, father Clarence Collins, grandfather Gregory Taylor (Loretta), great- grandmother Rhonnie Jackson, brother Mijuan Daniels, sisters Haisheema Taylor and Kadeira Taylor, aunts Stacy Moton, Genoa Kee, Tiffany Taylor. Uncles Stanley Dixon, Jr., and Donte Taylor (Asheree). Special cousin Shakira Burgess and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
