William Culbreath Obituary

William Dwight Culbreath, affectionately known as Bill or Bi, was born on November 6, 1972, in Camden, New Jersey, where he was also raised, rooted, and deeply loved. Camden was not just where Bill lived—it was who he was. He made his heavenly transition on December 16, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Camden.

William was born to William “Zu”Culbreath and Stephanie Marie (Daniluk) Culbreath. Along side his parents in his life journey was Aunt Greta, his favorite aunt and second mom, who played a pivotal role in his upbringing, love, and guidance.

From an early age, Bill was a gifted and passionate athlete. His athletic journey began as a Centerville Simba, followed by years of competing in Camden City basketball leagues as a young teenager. He later attended Camden High School, where his physical strength and fearless play earned him the nickname “Razor,” known for his bone-crushing hits and competitive spirit.

William’s talents extended far beyond sports. He was also an excellent dancer, full of rhythm, creativity, and confidence. Along with several close friends, he formed a dance group called Six Ounce Bounce. The group performed at talent shows and even opened for well-known rap groups when they came to Camden.

Family and community were at the center of Bill’s life. His heart and home were always opened to his homies (#6NF). He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy Evans Culbreath; his sons, Jerrel Culbreath (Burch) and William Culbreath Jr. (Buka); his brother, Michael Culbreath (M.C.); his Cousin/ little sister, Michele (Shelly) Culbreath; his niece, Myasia Culbreath and his cherished grandchildren, Jerrel Jr., Jordyn, and Jayla. He is also survived by his uncles, Robert and Michael Culbreath along with many extended family members, lifelong friends, teammates, and community members whose lives he touched.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William “Zu” Culbreath and Stephanie Marie Culbreath.

His mother was widely known as a loving, selfless, and devoted mother figure not only to her sons but to countless children in the community. She was affectionately remembered as “everyone’s mother.”

Now, Bill is reunited with his mother and father in heaven, together again in peace, love, and eternal rest.

William’s life was marked by strength, loyalty, talent, humor, and heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and deep Camden pride that will continue to live on through his family and all who knew him.
