Fabrian Johnson Sr Obituary

Ms. Asia I made some corrections so it could flow better. Also, will you be adding the part to the obituary my letter from myself to my dad? I believe i texted you the statement i wanted to make. Lastly, one of my aunts wanted to know if it would be on zoom. Ms. Asia you can make any additional changes if necessary.

Life Story

Fabrian Lamont Johnson Sr. was born on December 3, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Bernice Bailey Gibson. Fabrian went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025.

Fabrian (A.K.A “Fay”) was educated in the Camden City School District. After school, Fay worked for Waste Management for a while. After that, he went into business for himself. He did carpentry, maintenance, and electrical work.

Fay was a hardworking man. He worked every day, rain or shine. He rode his bike everywhere—from Clementon to Philadelphia—and never once did he complain.

Fay was good with his hands. He could put cabinets up, lay floors down, paint, and more. Fay had a talent everyone knew and trusted.

Fay was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Fay enjoyed sitting in the park with his best friend Eric. Fay was also a Cowboys fan (Ha Ha). He loved football.

Fay was predeceased by his mother, Bernice Bailey Gibson; his sisters Georgette Johnson, Bernice Jones, and Bernadette Johnson; and his brother George Gibson.

He is survived by his father, Clifford Johnson, his stepmother Luzy; his son, Fabrian Johnson Jr., daughter-in-law Myking Johnson; and his grandchildren Logan, Rian, and Jayce Johnson. He is also survived by his sisters Romona Moya, Cindy Gibson, Gail Gibson, Valerie Andrews (her husband Bruce), and Lisa Johnson; and one brother, Michael Gibson (his wife Sandy).

He leaves behind a very devoted fiancée of 28 years, Doris Morris; and his stepchildren Tyeka, Elani, Kimani, and Nysir.

Fay also leave behind a very good friend that was like a brother to him, Eric Skinner and the memory of a good friend who passed away a few months ago, Gene Smith.

He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memories.
