Our beloved, Roseline Angerville, was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on October 25, 1966 to parents Joseph Antonio and Oxana Angerville. She migrated from Haiti with her family on February 6, 1987 to Brooklyn, New York. During her time in New York, she attended Borough of Manhattan Community College.
Two years later, she married Reynald Lys and they were married for 25 years. From this union, four daughters were conceived (Thamar, Sharmaine, Samantha and Naomi). She left New York in 1995 and moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she spent 10 years. During her time there, she held different jobs including being a phlebotomist and certified nursing assistant. In 2005, she and the family moved to New Jersey. She resided in Cherry Hill, New Jersey until her passing.
During her time in New Jersey, she sought to further her education by getting an Associate’s degree at Camden County College in 2017. She later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Rowan University in 2022. She became a substitute teacher where she worked for the school district. The last school system she worked for was Maple Shade.
She was a devout Christian and her faith played a major part in her life. She spent a lot of time in church as a member but also volunteered her time assisting with Sunday and vacation bible schools. She was an active member at the following churches- French Speaking Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY, Moriah Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA, Haddon Heights Baptist Church in Haddon Heights, NJ and Immanuel Baptist Church in Maple Shade, NJ.
Roseline Angerville transitioned to be with the Lord on January 8, 2026 after a battle with ovarian cancer. She was 59 years old.
Our beloved Roseline, was predeceased by her father, Joseph Antonio Angerville, sister, Esther Angerville, nephew, Steeve Fontalus and brother-in-laws, Bertrand Brunache and Occide Fontalus. She leaves to cherish fond memories her mother, Oxana Angerville; children Thamar (Jamie) Adams, Sharmaine Lys, Samantha Lys, Naomi Lys; grandchildren Jaxon B. Adams, Levi A. Adams and Noelle E. Adams; her siblings, Sonia Fontalus, Josue L. (Florante) Angerville, Bethy Brunache, Guerda (Guy) Desir, Yvrose (Johnny) Magloire, Carline (Jean) Pierre, Jean Thony Angerville, Gina Angerville, Ruth (Robert) Laurenceau and Elizabeth (David) Valnord: and twenty-three nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
