Cynthia Renee Simmons Copling affectionately called Squeaky by family and friends and lovingly called

Gaga by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Was born on June 15, 1956, to Curtis and Pearl

Simmons in Camden NJ. Cynthia grew up in the city and was educated in the Camden City School

district. She began her career working for the Camden City Board of Education in 1984 where she

worked for 23 years until retiring in 2007 due to illness. Cyntia was a beloved Wife, Mother,

Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved the most

cooking and singing even if the lyrics were wrong. She stood only 4'11 but was feisty to her heart and

core speaking her mind in the way only she could. Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents Curtis and

Pearl Simmons, Siblings Edward Simmons (Dorthy), Louise Dixon, Robert Simmons, Nathanel Simmons,

Murtle Furman, Georgeann Hoskins and Denise Simmons, Step Children Gary Copling Jr. and Fiona

Copling. She leaves behind to cherish her memory Husband of 40 years Gary Copling Sr., Children

Ronnie Simmons (Cusa), Anisa Simmons, Dawayne Simmons (Jen) and Quason. Step Children Sherry Harrison

Kelley (Husband) and Dennis. Godchildren Shakia Crone and Braheem Harden. Eleven Grandchildren, Six Great

grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Counsins and Friends. Cynthia's life and love will live on

through her husband, children, grand children, family and friends.
