Obituary Franklin McArthur Gallieshaw was born May 9, 1945, in Lane, South Carolina to Carrie Peguese Gallieshaw and James Leroy Gallieshaw. He was one of five children born to that union. Franklin, affectionately known as “Frankie” graduated from Blakely High School in 1964 and moved to New Jersey shortly after. He was drafted into the United States Army where he served one tour of duty with a stint in South Korea. He was honorably discharged and continued his life in Camden, New Jersey. He was employed by several industries during his work-life. Frankie was united in matrimony to Beverly Ewing, who proceeded him in death in 2013. Frankie was the proud father of Valerie Windsor, Franklin McArthur Gallieshaw Jr., Mia Moss, Everlyn Moss, and Traci Moss. He was also the grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 11. Proceeding him in death were his wife Beverly, both parents, three daughters (Mia, Everlyn, and Traci), and three siblings (Harold Jerome Gallieshaw, Sadie Gallieshaw-Darby, and George Leroy Gallieshaw). Left to mourn his passing are children Valerie and Franklin Jr., 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grands, one brother James Laury Gallieshaw (Esther), seven nieces and nephews, eleven grandnieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
