Obituary of Lisa Thornton

Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Lisa Thornton (nee Walker) Lisa was born on August 21, 1974, in Camden, New Jersey. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1992. She later worked as a Camden County police officer for over 14 years and then with American Airlines as a flight attendant for approximately 10 years. As a young adult, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. If you know Lisa you knew she loved the Lord. Lisa separated her earthly body on Saturday, January 28, 2023 to go home with the Lord. Lisa was 48 years old and lived a life filled with joy, kindness, and generosity. She was known for her beautiful green eyes, infectious smile and personality, which would light up any room. Her warm and caring spirit endeared her to all those who knew her. She had a passion for her family, traveling, health & fitness, reading and learning and so much more. She used these passions to bring happiness to everyone she knew. She loved her family unconditionally, her cousins were like sisters and brothers, her uncles were like additional dads, she loved all of them and was loved by all. She is survived by her husband Raphael Thornton, sons Tywine and Torran Smalls, daughters Taja and Taiah Thornton, grandchildren Espn, Naveah, Aubrey, Kassidy, Tywine 3rd, and Nami Smalls, mother Jewell Johnson, father Arlington Walker Sr, and siblings Arlington Walker Jr, Natasha Clark, Amber Walker, and Natalice Farmer. Lisa will be deeply missed by her husband, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished by all, and she will be remembered as a shining light in this world. Rest in peace, Lisa. Your love and light will live on forever.
