Obituary of Elizabeth Stone

Mrs Elizabeth Stone wife of Johnny Stone Jr. was born August 19,1947 in Camden, NJ . She was the daughter of the late George & Julia Moreland. In her early years, she attended Camden Public School Systems and she completed her education in Job Corp in the city of Boston where she met her husband Johnny Stone Jr. After her marriage, Elizabeth & her husband returned to Camden NJ until her passing . Elizabeth was employed by the Department of Human Services as an investigator of welfare & social services where she later retired . Liz enjoyed shopping and often told her husband Johnny “ give me my flowers while I’m living “ and he did just that . Johnny planted a rose garden along the driveway of their home as a symbol of their love and acknowledgment of her request . Liz has touched the hearts and lives of many and will be missed by all those that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents , her brother John Moreland and sister Julia Reed. She leaves to cherish her fond memories her husband Johnny Stone Jr , her brother and sister in love and law and a host of nieces and nephews.
