Ryon Cortese Reynolds 45, formerly of Camden, NJ, suddenly transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home on June 6, 2017.

Ryon was born and raised in Camden, NJ, August, 26, 1971, to Garnella Reynolds-Anderson and Michael Jennings.  Ryon “G” as he was affectionately known grew up in Camden and later relocated to Sicklerville, NJ, where he resided until his untimely passing.  Graduating from Camden High School in 1989 Ryon excelled academically and on the football field.  His hard work, determination to strive and his love for football granted him a scholarship to college.  On February 27, 2009 Ryon married Nicole Price, no children were born of this union but Nicky immediately took on motherly duties and responsibilities for his children.

As a young man Ryon was baptized and accepted Christ at the Friendship Baptist Church, Camden NJ and attended church regularly with his grandparents, Arlington and Allene Reynolds (both preceded in death). While Ryon held several jobs over his lifetime, he immensely enjoyed working as a New Jersey Transit Driver.  While driving, his gentle nature made every bus ride a pleasurable trip enjoying the people he encountered on his routes.  Ryon was loved by everyone, he was always positive, uplifting, and a pleasure to be around.  Ryon also loved his family, especially his 3 children, daughters Ryon Jennea and Kaya Paris as well as his son Ryshon Cortese, who preceded him in death. In addition, Ryon being an only child had a very special relationship with his mother Garnella Reynolds-Anderson.

Ryon was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents; Arlington and Allene Reynolds and Al and Patricia Jennings.  In addition, his son Ryshon C Reynolds preceded him in death.
