On July 3, 1953, Robert and Frances Green welcomed a baby girl named Barbara Ann Green she would become the eldest child of four children. At the age of 17 she welcomed her only child and named her Imani. This causing her to complete her high school diploma at a later date by attending night classes. With having a young child and attending school at night her determination to get her high school diploma is a great achievement. Her love of food lead her to have a career in the food industry. She retired from Cathedral Village Retirement Home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the age of 42 to become a full-time grandmother to her only granddaughter name Angel. Her attendance and membership to Deliverance Evangelistic Church in North Philadelphia lead her to take Biblical classes to achieve her certificate in Biblical Knowledge. Barbara is survived by one and only daughter Imani her one and only granddaughter Angel. Brothers, Michael, Tony, and Samuel, a host of cousins nieces and nephews. Mom, my love for you is infinity. It’s been me and you shoulder to shoulder hand in hand. You were my mother and protector. I always thought you would be here and we would grow old together, but I know God is in control you are and will be greatly missed. I love you so much. I pray that you rest in peace. I pray that you rest in Jesus arms and I pray that I will see you again. I love you, Mom. I love you Mom. Psalms 23: The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want he maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Yea though I walked through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil for thou art with me thy rod and thy staff thy comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies thou anointest my head with oil my cup runner over. Surly goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
