Obituary of Cynthia Blackmon
Cynthia Blackmon was born in Atlantic City NJ on January 12, 1955 to the late Harold Ward Blackmon Sr and Alma Clyburn Blackmon. Cynthia grew up in Lancaster, South Carolina however she would travel often from down south to New Jerseyto visit with various family and friends. She attended both Carolina and New Jersey Public School Systems, resulting in a beautiful southern girl with a city girl savviness. Cynthia graduated from Willingboro High School class of 1972 and continued her studies at Rowan College. Cynthia moved to New Jersey where she met Eddie Thompson. On November 15, 1974 Cynthia gave birth to her only son William "Boo" Thompson. She adored being a mother and wasn't afraid to let the world know. Her bond with Boo is incomparable. You rarely seen one without the other. Cynthia was a very classy fun and stylish woman. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and making money. She had a very outgoing spirit and wasnt afraid to speak her mind. Whenever she entered a room her presence was felt and her smile would brighten anyone's day. She loved her dogs and Baby and Daddy and would often take them on road trips. In 1982 she met Cecil Bundy who would later become her life partner and dear friend. Cecil was very supportive in helping Cynthia raise Boo when his father passed. Cynthia and Cecil's bond grew stronger over the years and evolved into a devoted loving friendship. Cynthia will always be remembered for her strength, independence and love for her family. She lived, she laughed and she loved and she will forever be in our hearts.
