atherine Arleen Young, a cherished individual known for her loving, caring and playful personality, left

us on October 14,2024. Born on August 7,1955 Catherine lived a life filled with tremendous passion and

dedication towards educating and caring for young children.

Catherine was born in Camden, NJ to Celia Young and James Young Sr. She was educated in the Camden

Public School system in Camden, NJ. From an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

Catherine dedicated over 30 years at Respond Daycare and found immense joy in helping shape the

minds of her students. She has shared this gift with many generations, teaching the children of some of

her former students. She was also known for her love of fashion and shopping. She would affectionately

refer to her close family and friends and say “Hey girlie” when greeting them in love.

Her legacy leaves an indelible mark on family, friends, and fellow educators alike.

On Monday, October 14,2024 Catherine answered the Lord’s call from her earthly labors to eternal rest.

She was proceeded in death by her father James Young Sr., brother Kevin Young and sister Lisa Young

Catherine’s cherished memories will forever reside in the hearts of her son, William Warren III, Mother,

Celia Young, Aunt Bertha Turner, brother James Young Jr. sister, Dawn Tribbett, brother Jeff Money ,

and a host of nieces , nephews , cousins and friends.

Catherine Young, a beacon of kindness and love, will forever be etched in our hearts. Her life,

exemplified by her teaching to the youth of Camden, NJ will continue to inspire us. As we grapple with

the loss of her physical presence, we find solace in knowing that her spirit lives on through the

compassion and love she instilled in us.
