Obituary of Clyde Benthall
Clyde Benthall, the fourth child, was born to the late Izell and Estelle Benthall. He was born on February 21, 1957. He was educated in the Newark, New Jersey public school system after which he went on to work in construction, long haul trucking transportation and automotive repair services. He was affectionately called "Cleaty", "Snoop"and "Clyde So Fly"by
the many people who knew and loved
In 2007 Clyde met Monica Adams, who after a long loving relationship the married her on February 22, 2017.
Clyde was always a happy, easy going person who loved being a father to both his and Monica's children and most of
all a grandfather to their grandchildren. He was a devoted husband to Monica and loved watching western TV shows
and movies. He would watch them all day long refusing to let anyone touch the remote. He would tease children calling them "nail heads" and would give them an affectionate rub on their heads and they looked forward to this as much as he did.
Clyde was also a strong fighter, battling illnesses with a smile and a kind word to all until God called him home on November 17, 2017. He now joins his parents and siblings, Bobby, Kathy and Lorenzo.
Clyde leaves to continue his legacy, his wife, Monica Benthall; his children, Ra-Jahn Heath, Allen Heath, Gordon
Bradberry, Cornell Adams, Lamonika Adams, William Adams, Jamar Adams, Lena Adams and Shaheem Adams; -seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his siblings, Odell, Isla, Wendell, Solomon, Abraham, Kevin, and Sterlin. He will also be missed by his sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
