Thelma E. Hudson (Tune) was born on March 18, 1956 in Camden, NJ to the late George Nock and Blanche Thomas. Thelma was known to everyone as “Tune”. She grew up in Camden and attended Camden City Public School System. Tune worked for over 20yrs as a Janitorial Supervisor at the Delaware Port Authority Building; her last place of employment was with Arthur Jackson Cleaning Service. Tune loved to take pictures, dance and collect knickknacks. Tune was a fashion Diva who loved to wear mix match socks and dye everyone’s hair blonde. Tune was the life of the party, she enjoyed dancing and her favorite music artist was Smokey Robinson. Tune love the kids and babysitting, she was considered the “Family Nanny”. Tune loved to cook; her favorite dishes were fried chicken, spaghetti and crabs. Tune was the “hair color specialist” in our family when you reached the age of seven you were christened with Tune special patch of blonde dye, in your hair or eyebrows.
Tune leaves to mourn her mother, Blanche Thomas (Bernard Thomas) predeceased father George Nock, three sons, Turhan Hudson, Hakeem Hudson; predeceased Deshan Hudson (Poohbear), three grandchildren; Turhan Hudson Jr., Sanaya, and DaMira (Bubbles) Hurt, two great-grandchildren; Chloe’ Lynn Thompson and Aiden Hudson; four brothers; predeceased Gary Hudson Sr. (Jeanette), Joseph Brown Jr. (Marva), Stephon (Tap) Brown Sr. (Rhonda), Jamal Brown and three sisters; Angel Harbison, Vanessa (Diamond) Brown and Bridgette (Midge) Brown (John), two special cousins/caregivers LaRonda (Bird) Jackson and TaMara Hudson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
