Geno Colon/Cooper was born on November 20, 1957 in Camden, NJ. Geno was one of six children born to the late Geraldine and Raymond Cooper. He was raised in Camden and educated in the Camden Public School System. Geno went on to get his welding certification and was employed at the Philadelphia Shipyard out of the iron workers Union 401. After leaving the shipyard he was employed at the Philadelphia Signs where he retired.
In Geno's early years he was known as an independent and a real go-getter. Geno enjoyed fast cars and motorcycles. He loved to go to the gym, weight lifting and body building he always wanted to keep up with his physical appearance. Geno left a great impression on everyone he came in contact with because of his big personality. Geno was kind , had a good sense of humor and was always happy. Geno would give you his last but would also come back to get your last.
Geno is preceded in death by his parents Geraldine and Raymond Cooper; his son Nikea , two siblings Hakeem and Grace Cooper/Colon.
He leaves to cherish his memories his fiancee Desiree Hall, his children; Lena, Shawn, Julius, Julian, Gina and Domonick, his siblings; Carmela,Judy Hawkins (Robert), Joseph Cooper (Charlie) and Vivian eight grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
